I'm well into my second generation of successful dealings with McVeigh Lumber. They have a seemingly inexhaustible supply of excellent pine logs, which they mill well on traditional circular saws. I find their pine lumber is the most dimensionally accurate of any of the mills from which I have bought over the last fifty years. Prices are reasonable and the quality ranges from good to excellent.

I don't recall buying hardwood from McVeigh's, but their pine lumber and timbers are well worth the trip.
