Welcome to Zad! In Arabic we say "Ahlan wa Sahlan!" We pledge to serve you some of the freshest and most delicious Middle Eastern cuisine in Chicago and invite you to experience one of the warmest and most enjoyable dining experiences in Lakeview. Hospitality is something we take seriously and we want your time with us to reflect our sincere desire to provide you a wonderful dining experience. Our menu reflects general Mediterranean and Middle Eastern classics such as Hummus, Falafel, juicy Kebobs and Shawermas served with fresh Pita Bread as well as gluten free dishes . As the Owner and General Manager of Zad, I welcome your to experience our inviting hospitality. Growing up in Morocco, I learned many unique ways to prepare food that others love to eat. It is a pleasure to bring an authentic North African perspective to Middle Eastern food in Lakeview, as well as to offer some of the dishes I grew up with and that my own family still makes to this day. You will experience savory, enticing flavors that will not be found anywhere else and I invite you to bring a hearty appetite and a desire to be fully present in the moment as you experience eating at Zad.
