About Yoghood

I am a certified Yog instructor, a master of philosophy in literature and cultural studies and a mother of two kids.
I started my yogic pursuits eight years back. It is a constant journey, finding out about the true meaning of “Yog”. I have applied it on almost all dichotomies and dualities of my life, with the realization that Yog transcends the ‘mat’ and engulfs ‘life’ itself.
The physical part of Yog, which is often termed as the ‘hatha yoga’, or simply ‘yoga’, is only about one-third of the whole; the rest being meditation, breathing and self-healing, in equal parts. ‘Yoghood” extends even further, it engulfs food, sleep, clothes, relations and pretty much constitutes the dominant philosophy of my life.
