The first location was opened in East Vancouver on Fraser Street. Artel Salon Fraser street is a chair rental hair salon. All the hairstylists working out of Artel Salon Fraser run their own hairstyling business and manage all of their own hairstyling clients. Each individual stylist runs their business independently in a collaborative environment. If you are passing by our salon in the Fraserhood, you’ll notice some balayage babes and unicorn hair inspiration from our “vivids” experts. Artel Salon Fraser has 7 hairstylists providing hairstyling services. The second Artel Salon is located closer to downtown Vancouver located at 493 W 6th ave, Vancouver. Our Cambie location likes to keep it classic with a more traditional hair salon format. Artel Salon Cambie has 9 hairstylists at this location and we provide a variety of hairstyling services from highlights, root touchups, hair cuts, balayage and Ombre and even "vivids". The Third Artel Salon is located at 473 W 8th ave, Vancouver. This location is called Artel Salon Headquarters because it is the biggest of all the Artel Salon locations. Our Artel Salon Headquarters location is just two blocks up from our Cambie location, and just opened this August 2019! Married in 2012, Eliza and Rob are partners both in life and in business. As two passionate artists, they combined their talents to create a unique salon experience in Vancouver. Early on in their careers Eliza became known in Vancouver as a balayage queen for various professional salons, and Rob built a solid reputation around town for being a gifted commercial photographer. Together, they decided to create a place where a collective of artists could work together with a similar vision.

Eliza and Rob were able to realize their dreams and open the first Artel Salon location on Fraser Street in Vancouver in July 2015. After the success and popularity of the Fraser Street location, the power couple decided to open another location in the Cambie area in May of 2017. Holding fast to the goal of building a business culture where stylists feel seen, heard, and empowered, Eliza and Rob were blown away by the calibre of stylists they attracted. With a tight-knit team of amazing hairstylists, the couple then decided to pursue an opportunity for a third location in Vancouver. Thus, Artel Headquarters opened in August 2019 at the bustling intersection of Cambie and 8th.

Eliza and Rob are truly overwhelmed by the love and support from their neighbours, friends, and families, and could not have done this journey without them. They are excited to see what the future holds for the Artel Salon brand.
