Mobile Pet Medical is a full service Veterinary clinic and hospital on wheels. We offer everything from general yearly health checkups to emergency surgery services. We have the capability of overnight care in our fixed facility hospital. We are especially equipped to help home bound individuals and their pets that get too stressed out with a hospital visit. We offer compassionate Veterinary care in the home where pets are least stressed and more themselves. We have been in practice since 1979 serving Boise and the Treasure Valley area by bringing both pet medical expertise and the latest new techniques right to the front door. No need for the stressful car ride to a clinic. We know that many pets don't travel well, especially cats and large breed dogs. Their stress starts building from the time you put them in their carrier and sometimes doesn't end sometimes for days after a visit. No long and stressful waits in the waiting room. How long have you sat in a waiting room with noisy dogs or vocalizing cats, the whole time wondering how long the wait will be this time? There is no wondering if your pet was just exposed to another disease. Many times when you visit the vet's office you simply don't know if the dog coming up to your dog has some contagious illness or is just there for a wellness visit. Doctors will see well pets and sick pets every day and many times you are in the same waiting area with these pets. The primary reason Mobile Pet Medical serves this way is because we feel there is a great deal of stress placed on an animal to come into a clinic. This stress response can appear clinically as signs of illness when the animal is otherwise normal at home. Sometimes the symptoms of illness are totally masked by stress and we can't always detect the subtle changes that would lead to a diagnosis. We feel that we can best serve both you, the pet owner, and our furry, feathered, and scaled friends is by seeing them in their own environment.
