We’re Justin + Amanda! Husband and wife. Photographer and assistant. Film enthusiast and great cook. West Elm and Crate & Barrel. But more importantly, best friends.

Justin received a camera from his parents just a few years ago and while at first it was just a camera...something began to stir within him. His dreams to capture memorable moments for others ultimately led to his career as a wedding photographer. After all, what day is more special than your wedding? He recruited his wife to begin tagging along to all of his sessions and she began to fall in love with the art of photography. And now she’s second-in-charge and the official bookkeeper, receptionist, e-mail answer-er, you name it!

We do not just love the South. We breathe the South. We love pecan pie. We love sweet tea. We love dreamy Spanish moss dripping from giant oaks. We love a sweet hello you receive from a stranger on a Sunday morning as your cross Bay Street headed to your favorite brunch spot. The South itself has helped shape our company (and our lives) into what it is today: A Southern wedding company for the Southern couple.

You’ve seen them before. That photographer at a wedding running around like a crazy person. Frazzled. Distraught. Exhausted. And most likely a good bit of sweat and despair on their face. Well, that’s not us. We promise.

Wedding days are oh so special and they should be treated this way. Yes, there is a timeline. Yes, the day will fly by. Yes, some parts will feel more rushed than others. But that’s okay. More important than all of that....it’s your wedding day. It is a day that you will remember for the rest of your life. And we are there to help make that happen.

What is fine art photography, you ask? It’s a style of photography that emphasizes emotion. We pride ourselves in slowing down a wedding day and focusing on this emotion. We take our time. We watch carefully. We wait for it. We wait for that one special moment. Wait for it. Wait. Almost. There. The way that your husband glanced at you. The way your mom put her hand to her lips as you slip on your dress. The way that your grandmother wiped a tear from her eye as you walk down the aisle. Those are the moments we wait for. Those are the moments that you want to remember.
