Canoga Pet Resort

Boarding:
Canoga Pet Resort offers overnight boarding care for dogs of any size. Our facility was originally built as a veterinary hospital and dog resort. It has a long history of caring for dogs in the San Fernando Valley. Over the years the building has been upgraded and modernized, but always for the purpose of better care for dogs. We have large skylights that bring in natural sun light and warmth. We have many air conditioning units so that dogs in our care never overheat. Outdoor exercise areas provide time in fresh air and sun. Drains are built into floors to make sure that our facility is the cleanest around. We care for dogs that are friendly and are able to play in a daycare environment, as well as dogs that only like human companionship.
Day Care:
Daycare stimulates and challenges social skills and quality of interaction. Dogs by nature are pack animals. Daycare gives them the opportunity to live a more natural life. The exercise level of doggie daycare cannot be replicated in any other environment. We have two outdoor and two indoor climate controlled play yards. Dogs are separated by size and activity level. Play yards are always supervised by caring and attentive staff. Puppy cams are available for viewing online. All dogs must be vaccinated, spayed/neutered, friendly to other dogs.
Grooming:
For every problem there is a solution. We offer professional dog training. We use positive reinforcement techniques. We never intimidate, abuse, choke or shock dogs. One-on-one training is available at our facility or at clients home.
Training:
Grooming is a very important part of your dogs overall health and well being. Grooming is a health routine that should be performed every 4 to 6 weeks.
