John Panter Certified Advanced Rolfer

John Panter was born in Toronto, and moved to Halifax in 1980. Beginning with wrestling, fencing, karate and yoga in the 60's and continuing with Taoist Tai Chi from 1971 and on, he has almost 50 years experience with Eastern and Western martial, spiritual and health arts. Entering the Rolf Institute in 1996, he became a Certified Rolfer in 1998, and has practiced since then. During this period he studied at Dalhousie University and was awarded a B.Sc. (Psychology) in 2005 and a B.A. (History) in 2008. He is currently pursuing research at a Master's level.John has additional training in Cranio-Sacral Therapy from the Upledger Institute, and in Trauma Intervention from the Atlantic School of Social Work.
